Description
Levepsy is an antiepileptic medication containing 500 mg of Levetiracetam per tablet. It is used as a foundational treatment for patients with epilepsy, working by stabilizing electrical activity in the brain to prevent the onset of abnormal discharges that lead to seizures. Levepsy is clinically indicated for the control of partial-onset seizures in adults and children, as well as myoclonic and primary generalized tonic-clonic seizures. By modulating the release of neurotransmitters, it helps patients achieve better seizure control and improved daily stability. Each pack contains 10 tablets, typically used as part of a long-term maintenance therapy.
Important Note: This medication must be taken exactly as prescribed by a neurologist or healthcare professional. Do not skip doses or stop taking Levepsy suddenly, as this can increase the risk of breakthrough seizures or status epilepticus. Common side effects can include dizziness or sleepiness, so it is important to monitor your response to the medication before engaging in activities
